I noticed an ad in a late Zzap for their "new" magazine, Amiga Force, saying it was the only tips and cheats Amiga magazine available.

I assume it didn't stay like this for long did it? i.e. it started including reviews etc.

Actually, looking at the scan above on the cover it also says: "we review all the new budget games", so all a bit confusing really... x-I

Amiga Force never really settled on what it wanted to be. Our original brief was for a secondary-purchase magazine, with the emphasis on tips and cheats, which people would buy as well as rather than instead of their current favourite Amiga mag. That's why it had no disk - we wanted to keep the price down. But by the time we'd got the first issue out of the door, it was just another Amiga magazine, with reviews taking centre stage.
