ZZAP! Annual 2019 - due Christmas 2018

Post by Professor Brian Strain »

So, Chris Wilkins and Fusion Retro Books have released the new Crash album, in association with Roger Kean and Oli Frey.

And now there is a Facebook group for the ZZAP annual to be released next Christmas.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/370835800027675/

Julian Rignall is on board.

This is great news :) Fantastic that Jaz is on board, hopefully some more of the old crew will join him.

I can't wait for next christmas.

Nice that it's basically confirmed, but can it reach the high standards of issue 107 and the Def Guide one? :) Hopefully it will!

It was such a pity I couldn't get in touch with Julian for the DEF tribute. :(
Shame it was pre social media in 2005, I could only get in touch with people who knew people who hopefully knew someone with a working e-mail account. ;-) Oh well. :)
Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.

The annual has high standards to match with your Def Tribute Lloyd. :) I assume there won't be any free digital downloads of the annual. I welcome it, but it does seem a little bit too commercial to me but maybe that's what Kickstarter has done to the retro world. Still there's plenty of things that just wouldn't have come out but for it...

Nice! I must remember to actually pledge to the thing! Still have to do the Final Commodore Years book as well. Can't be too long left to go with that one...

Going over to KS to pledge now before I miss the deadline altogether! I gather there are Zzap binders as well, although it seems I have to pledge to be able to read the update about them... Did I see mention of £20 somewhere? Seems a little pricey but can't really be expecting the £4.50 / £5 original price I guess. :-D

£20 includes postage, but yes. I was a bit shocked when Chris told me how much they will cost to make...

Zzap 107 was totally awesome. I can’t wait to get my hands on this issue though.
Speaking of which, is this issue 108 then?
