We could hire out a pub room in Ludlow? x-) Now that would be cool!
Now THAT would be sweet....I'd (we'd) be interested in co-sponsoring such an event ;)

Just let me know...

Hi George, didn't realise it was you.

It certainly would be a great time to do, near the home of Zzap C64 and it's a bit arkward to get to so we'd only have the hardcore zzap fans!.

What's the pub that the Gordo zzap gang used to go to, the Bull? (Gordo?)

Yep, that's the one. I sometimes wonder if Maff Evans's pool of vomit is still outside that pub.

Lovely... I think that might have been the pub I stayed at while in Ludlow a year or two ago, didn't know about the vomit though, so I didn't keep an eye out for any marks on the pavement...

Can't we just hire the 'real thing' for one day?
Or what's happening at the moment above the Victoria Wine shop and Barclay's Bank?
:)

Don't think you would have stayed at the bull as to the best of my knowledge they don't do b&b. You may have stayed at the Bull Ring Tavern though (just up the road)

The Bull (along with ludlow) has changed a lot since the zzap days. It's still a favourite hang out for under age drinkers though.

Em, the place I stayed at had a really slagging roof, if you placed the bed at the side of the room, it probably would have rolled to the middle!

Jim, the old Zzap offices are now part of the banks offices, there is SFA (sweet fuck all) chance of them letting us rent that out for a night!!

You MAD MAD bastard!!!! :-D

But very funny, must add it to the site...

I esp. like the bit about Mort hiding behind a scanner... but why would we be planting bombs in old computers? We would more likely be bombing the new evil ones!!

50 people!?!?
I hoped that we could keep it nice and cozy with only a couple of zzap die-hards. (ex-staff or neo-rrap)
The challenge that I had in mind (keep on dreaming) looks like that inter-magazine reviewers challenge (issue 21 dec 1986 /jan 1987 page 69-74) or the one with the 'superstars' (issue 12 april 1986 page 46-49).
I thought of a max. of 8/10 people? Or am I being too egoistic? (if I could make it to the UK anyway  )
Ni!

Rob
