A rather nice bird table from my parents, a video camera from my better half, and various bits and bobs. Oh, and OutRun2. Lee: seeing as you have an Xbox, you really HAVE to buy this game (which is under £20 in GAME at the moment)—it's ace!LeeT wrote:What did people get for presents?

Funnily enough, I did think about buying that, a few days ago...CraigGrannell wrote:A rather nice bird table from my parents, a video camera from my better half, and various bits and bobs. Stop thinking about it—just buy it!
I recommend it on the basis that it's a good ol' fashioned arcade racer that's—get this—*fun* to play. All the tedious crap associated with driving games these days has been dispensed with, in favour of great graphics, a control system to die for, and sheer *fun*. (Did I mention that it's a fun game?)
Also, most of the reviews waffle on about it not being realistic, and that it only provides short-term value. Both these things are bollocks. The former is a pointless comment (it's an arcade racer—it's not supposed to be "realistic"); the latter is just completely wrong: the 101 "missions" take some time to crack, even if the arcade mode doesn't. And £20 for a £15k+ arcade machine in your living room is bloody good value anyway.
