Mort - Any chance of doing 'Amiga Power' at some point? I never read it, but have visited the excellent 'World of Stuart' website/forum (run by Rev Stu Campbell!) and it seems that the mag was fairly notorious for not falling for industry bulls**t, and for giving low marks. Could be interesting?....

Hi Lee,
Amiga Power has been on my hitlist, I think Peanuttalk on the Lemon Amiga site is going to do his set and scan them in, We will wait and see whilst I continue to plough though Commodore Format in the meantime and also the Pcg`s. I am still interested in doing those mags you mentioned and what pcg`s did you have Lee (I think you had some aswell as Big k)

Ps thanks for the advertising on the Lemon site also

Didn't come across any issues PCG - I'm sure I have a couple but they are probably in the upstairs cupboard (which has twice as many mags as the downstairs one (which took me THREE days to sort out!)).

I had a look at Irfanview earlier this week - Any chance of writing an 'idiots guide' to how you do a scan, Mort? It looks a bit daunting to someone like me*

Just curious. When u convert the original cassettes to tap format, are the tap files checked and cleaned using software like Final Tap?

Cheers.

Mine haven't been admitedly. But I have made sure they do load 100% in Vice and CCS before submitting. Sometimes the loaders aren't recognised by FinalTAP sadly...

With Edge still being published, I'd say scanning in Edge would be a very bad idea.

The Only thing I have ripped from edge was the article about issue 107 :-)

Well when I was originally telling Mort about the way to record taps, I told him about FinalTap etc. Not too sure if he used it though? Mort?

Yep I did use final tap to clean up the zzap tapes when recording them. Thanks Iain for lending me the device at the time to connect the tapes to my old 486

Just wondering if CU Amiga magazine scans are a possibility?
