Erm.

I...

Erm.

TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN POUNDS?

That it totally insane! Especially when the person selling has a feedback rating of (count 'em) _six_!

Mad and strange, but having them in binders probably helps! They've been going for a lot less over the past few months though...

Hmm... two things strike me about this:

1. I'm sure I've seen those pics on eBay before (i.e. before the original auction), and;
2. Why didn't he just use the "second chance" thing built into eBay and offer the mags to the second-highest bidder?

It is a bit strange, the original winner bidder macdonald8746 had no negative feedback before this. Now he has one to ruin his straight run! :)

Ohh I do hate you posting english auctions from your dodgy ditch ebay!! ;-)

It's great to have the binders but the description of the mags is somewhat sparse... so it's very strange to bid that high, especially 5 days before the end of the auction. Let's keep an eye on it :)

"Ditch"? Nice Freudian typo there!

As for that auction, part of the reason it went so high so quickly was largely my fault. I put in a reasonable bid to track it (I always forget to check watched auctions, but always keep an eye on ones I'm bidding on).

I always do the same, but I always bid the minimum prize for tracking, why push the prize in an early phase?
(and people cannot remove an auction easily if someone already bid on it)

Makes me wonder what your eBay alter ego is? 8) (Mine's pretty easy to figure out, hehe)

btw, issue 1 seems in a terrible state from a distance, most of the time the real item is even worse. :?
