Interestingly, it appears that Darran from games™ is to take over, with Markie doing the art. That's certainly promising. I have to say, though, that if I were them, I'd be sorely tempted to start with "volume two, issue one" to emphasise the "clean break" aspect of it all. It'll also be interesting to see whether Imagine honours subscriptions (in the way that Europress Impact did when it resurrected the Newsfield mags).

Anyway, Darran & Markie (!!!) that's of course excellent.
Hopefully they'll print some extra DEF Zzap!'s as well...
...and honour my promised lifelong sub!
Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.
I've known about this for a few days and it's shaping up to be a 'retro christmas' with Retro Survival and the (hopeful) launch of Retro Bytes.

Well, there's already been a Volume 2... In a way it makes sense to carry on with "issue 19" since that would have been the next one. But it is GOOD NEWS that they are going to talk to the former freelancers about being involved in the "New" Retro Gamer...CraigGrannell wrote:Interestingly, it appears that Darran from games™ is to take over, with Markie doing the art.
