Gordon & Kati writing for Commodore Format

Post by LeeT »

Just a quick question Gordon...

Why did you and Kati stop writing for Commodore Format?

I am re-reading all my issues of CF and noticed that you stopped writing regularly around Issue 11, though there was another feature around Issue 14.

I asked Gordon about his CF stint for my (going to be hugely delayed) Zzap!64 article for Pixelsurgeon. His response was that he didn't even remember writing for that mag, but then he is getting on a bit now, so maybe the ol' brain's going.

I used to get C Format from issue 1 to about 14 and I don't remember Gordo writing for it, but then again, my memory is about as good as Ken D Fish's!

IIRC, there were even some photos of him, Kati and Steve being silly buggers in Bath.

Oh, so those got published, did they? That was a fun day out... Anyway, as Craig says, I genuinely can't remember much about writing for them, and only believed I did when someone showed me a scan of the pages a couple of years back. Kati's even worse. She forgets who *I* am, most days.

That can't be good for the self esteem. When she finds you in the same bedroom as her, does she call the police? 8-)

Nah. She's forgotten the telephone number for them, too. :)

Does she wonder what the hell two kids are doing in the house as well?

Anyway, I'm going to stop following you around the board and go and watch Voyager 8-)
