Games you still play today?

Post by Famous Mortimer »

Just having a go of "Mercenary" again and it's like I can taste being 12. Still love it, I'm not as good at it as I once was, but it still holds up.

Given the world we live in today, what C64 games do you still play? What holds up?

Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.

I still regularly play Citadel, Impossible Mission, PSI-5 and Choplifter!. There's just something particularly moody about them that still gives me the tingles.

I'll probably buy a MMC when it can do multiloads actually.

(unless I missed that improvement)

Hi Mayhem,
The MMc can do some multiloads with the non official bios, but it is a bit unstable as yet (mainly ide fixed games). Fingers crossed the dfi format is worked on for easy conversion from d64 to dfi. Elvira II works well as a demo.

Ps will give you a mail about the last missing Nms`s (got it down to about 10 issues now)
