Complete set of Zzap in Binders went for £99

Post by Iain »

The whole lot in binders with only one bid for £99

eBay Auction

Seems like quite a bargin, they would have went for £250+ a year or two ago I think...

I posted a while ago on this, Zzap bubble has burst in my opinion. May come back again, but the prices the mags & binders were going for 2 years ago have definaltly fallen big time.

Would appear to be the case, but in fairness the prices some of the mags were getting a couple of years ago, where rather mad!

Would you recommend a buy rating on Zzap at the mo to sell at a potental profit in another couple of years? ;-)

True, the prices were well over inflated a few years back. Who knows may go back to stupid levels again?

wow, £100 for all 90? a total bargain! - why, less than 2 years ago i remember a copy of issue 1 on its own going for over £100!!

I agree, the bubble has burst and I think part of the reason is that there is now no need to own the magazines to view the content coz someone has only gone and scanned them all!! (mentioning no names!)

I did think when Mort's CDs / DVDs came out that the prices of the paper issues would go down but it didn't seem to happen...

I guess people who wanted a full set of Zzap have mainly got them now and there's not many new Zzap readers about these days!! ;-)

Did an issue 1 really go for £100? :-o

I just got the complete set of Crash including 5 binders of the same seller as the zzap auction for £126.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0053926680

This will be a great replacement for my complete but rather well used and scanned set of Crash which are sitting in a cardboard box and will go nicely next to the zzaps in binders. Thought it was a good price at just over 1.38 and issue plus the binders :-)

Thought I would get a decent set whilst the prices are low at the moment

Nifty Mort! Cool binders too.

Here Zzap issue 1 - 90 for 150 (buy it now) including S&H!

That's a lot of complete sets in a short timespan...

He's been a bit optimistic alright! Especially considering the finishing price of previous auctions, the fact that it's only issues 1-64 and the time of the year!

Eh? 8 binders on eBay!

Shame he's asking 40 quid per binder on postage!

The auction is for 8 issues in one binder is it not? Maybe he changed it after you posted the link? :)
