Nikki Hemming

Do you remember Nikki Hemming?

She was quoted in Zzap! for the first time in issue 58, The Word, as "the alluring face of ARC's PR company". There was a photo of her, whose caption went "IDG Europe's glamorous Nikki Hemming".

2nd time, the Scorelord started his review of Turrican in issue 61 with "Rainbow Arts' Nikki Hemming".

3rd time, a guy in Rrap! issue 67 asked "In the C64 Turrican review Stu [the Scorelord, actually. Or were they the same person? - Fab] quoted Rainbow Arts's Nikki Hemming. [...] Isn't she the glamorous bird who works for ARC (Atari) [...]? Lloyd answered "She actually works for a company called IDG Europe which does PR for Rainbow Arts and used to do the same for Arc".

And guess what is Nikki doing now?

WOW! CEO of the company which owns KaZaA! There is a photo of her, and she actually does look like she is the same person as Zzap! 58. It is great to see that celebrities of Zzap! times are so influential in today's world! She is also very much into preserving freedom of information and against measures preventing spreading of information.

Stuart Wynne was one of the members who 'played' the Scorelord - In fact, in some of the ZZAP issues, the Scorelord took over Stu's review comments!

Wonder if Nikki Hemming has got an original cassette of 'Giana Sisters' on the Speccy, as its even more rare than the C64 version (only review copies were sent out)?
