Why Gordo?

Because he and Kati Hamza are omitted from the 'where are they now' article and "the-burrow" is on freeserve.co.uk as is Yossarian.

Pretty tenuous conclusions, but hey.

Both wrong, but I like your thinking with the Freeserve domain name.

I've been commissioned to write an article on classic videogame magazines for a UK publication. Naturally, ZZAP! 64 will be dedicated the large amount of space it deserves. I'll let you all know when it's due on the shelves...

I reckon you're Maff Evans due to various reasons.

Oh well, thought that from the lack of his name, the journalism ties, and the Yossarian music ref.

Did you work on Zzap, then, or are you just mates with some of those who were there?

Yes, I did work on ZZAP! - I started at Case Mill at the tender age of 17. I actually grew up down the road from Ludlow, in a town called Bridgnorth, which was also the stomping grounds of Miles Guttery and James Price. I did a year at Ludlow College before joining the magazine. I used to stop off at the famous Victoria Wines store (above which Newsfield used to operate) to buy state-sponsored drugs on days when I'd consider the enormity of the universe, the sheer amount of effort that understanding a fraction of it entails, and think: fuck it, I'm going to go get pissed in the park, instead. When I moved to Ludlow, I shared a house about twenty seconds away from there.

Are you Phil King??
If not - How about a few clues?
I presume you worked in the editorial dept,
so who was the first editor you worked for,
and in what year?

Hmmm. Unless you are Miles or James (which would be odd -- referring to yourself in the third person), I'd have to say, "hi, Nik, how's it going?" or am I totally wrong again? :)

The thing about Victoria Wines seems to suggest an older Zzaper...
