I don't think that any 'zzap!backed' game would qualify for our cover. Very un-zzap! like. If we should have a specific game-related cover, that should be NEWCOMER

thought by some to be the best RPG ever to appear on the C64, only it came out a few years late! I suppose we could also have an interview with its makers...

I've been trying to get to the Newcomer site for the past few days...just always times out for me. I think the game would definitely be up there for good review candidates...
So far the only "cover worthy" new games I've been playing in the last week have been Metal Warrior 3 or even Turrican 3...search continues. :)

A 'Metal Warrior 3' cover would actually be quite easy to 'fake' from a number of pictures Oli did that I've got, including one for 2000 AD...
'Newcomer' would also be possible, bearing in mind that Zzap!64 covers were usually related to, rather than directly based on, games that were reviewed.
