I Dont really know if anyone is interested, but I own the original painting which was used for the cover of issue 24 of ZZAP 64. It was of course painted by oliver frey, whom i met when I went down to ludlow in 1987 for a competition I won (this is where I also won the painting). Anyone who may doubt me, look in competition winners for some of the previous issues to 24 and you will see my name as a winner of the basildon bond competition for which I eneded up with an alternative price ( I also have some pictures somewhere with me with the writers!) I would think that the painting has a value and would appreciate anyone who can give advice to its value! |
