Does anyone recall those cheat listings in the 'Pig in a Poke' section (though they did seem to rename it sporadically)? The bulk of them were made by Martin Pugh.These quite detailed listings were often comprised of numbers and various punctuation marks put together in a ostensibly haphazard way. The truth was that these listings fooled the machine into giving various different cheats to enable the player an easy victory.
However typing in these listings was quite a feat in itself and frequently they didn't work!!! Fancy, you had to conscientiously type these lengthy listings in exactly as published only to find they didn't work - AAARGH! I later found out that this was the publishers fault; or maybe it was 'just deserts' for trying to cheat...
