I'm considering creating downloadable "Zzap Bible", a txt file containing a list of every single game reviewed by Zzap, together with the issue/page number, and score given. This would obviously be quite a large undertaking (several months depending on how much spare time I have) so before I commit myself to the project, how many people would be interested in such a file?

You are aware that most of the Zzapbible is available on this site?I'm currently going through all the reviews again and correcting any errors that where inthe original printed bible and adding other issues as well. Whenever I get this done I'll probably create a plain text file of the database and let this be downloadable. So save yourself a couple of months of work! Now if you wanted to do a Tips bible... that would be great! :)

Yeah, I was aware of the one on the site but I thought a downloadable one would be cool. Iain, if you're happy to save me the work, go for it! A tips bible...I'll give it some thought. |

Yes, there are some errors and omissions in the original Zzap! Bible (the one printed in Zzap!). For example, all the budget games in issue 48 are missing from the Bible. (for example, I tried a search for Zone Trooper, issue 48 page 55, and it is not present). It seems that, if a game was missing from the reviews index in the issue's content page, it is missing from the Bible too. |
