Here is a quick taster of what the cd`s should contain, give or take the odd thing on Cd2. I have checked cd`s 3-5 for Cockups, missing pages etc. Just the first 2 to correct and write now :-)

Cd 1 contains
--------------
Protozap
issues 1-20 1985-1986
Viewer for issues(hypersnaps dx shareware)
image of zzapbinder

cd 2 (to be finalised)
----------------------
issues 21-32 1987
Sampler tape 1 with issue 26 including mp3 of Thalamusic
Lm issue 0 :-)
Commodore Guide(last time Gary Penn and Julian Rignall and Ciaran Brennan appeared in a mag together)
Issue 107 (special edition with web bonuses and reviews)
Web pages featuring ZZap features/Tribute pages
All the tapes/disks that came with the mag
The ZZap Sizzlers 1 and 2 compilations tapes

This will probably have more stuff on later as it is the overfill cd!

Cd 3
----
issues 33-56 1988-1989
includes tapes 2-5 with relevant issues

Cd 4
----
Issues 57-79 1990-1991 with tapes 6-23 on relevant issues

cd 5
----
Issues 80-107 1992-2002
With tapes/disks 24-37 /reel action 1-29/zzap107 disk with relevant issues

Hope you all like the looks of these, I have been plugging away now for the best part of 6 months getting these done :-p

All the best

Mort

The CDs look great. Will you be offering them for sale by mail? If so - for how much?

Yep,
I was wondering this myself.
Will those cd's be available for sale? What's your price as this sounds soooo interesting!

Cheers mate!

The cd`s will be around 15 for the basic set of 5 cd`s, or the printed and packaged set will set you back around 20 (plus the postage will be more so around 8 more than the basic set. (both will contain templates for the cd case etc so you will be able to print your own Jewel case inlay and Labels.

The launch of the cd`s will be at the Bit live event. (possible updates will be made available on occasion if need be).

Can people unable to attend Back In Time (missed out again, grrrr...!) order these yet?

I've had a chance to go through them... and all I can say is damn fine!

A few directories have some mis-numbered files, there's a copy of Commodore Format #61 on one CD (meant to be there?!), and there is some megatape duplication betweens CDs... but apart from that, a great ref source :)

Thanks for the positive feedback Matt, Yep Commodore Format 61 is meant to be on Cd 5 or was it 2 as a reference to the last commercially available magazine for the 64.

Ta :-)

So whats the deal with overseas shipping?? what would be the sum for all those CDs shipped to ... lets say... Pakistan.. where I live? Also, what would be the mode of payment??? Got ya thinkin'.....

If anbody wants to order the cd`s I would send the unboxed versions to save on shipping and do them at a set price of say 20 which would cover padded envelope and shipping almost anywhere. email me at [email protected] if interested. with this you would get all 5 cd`s and everything you need to label and box them when they arrive, eg on disk 2 the labels are available to print :-)

I did think about sending ready boxed versions but I think the cases would be smashed on long distance journeys :-(

Itching to get these CDs, but being in Australia have found it hard to get/send the correct payment (i.e. sterling!) -- anyone found a good solution?
