How did they (the companies) put a game onto a cartidge? Also, were most games programmed on PC's? Because I remember there was trouble 'porting' Operation Thunderbolt onto the C64 so they knocked up a shoddy version at light-speed to make the launch-date. Please explain! My brain is hurting!! Ai, In the early 90's they started using PC's as a developement base for the C64 and ported the code over to the C64 to test it (I guess) and also for the final version. I got a copy of a 6510a compiler for the Amiga a few years ago, which was great to program on. The above method took longer than just using a debugger on the C64 to cide which is what I always did! |
