In the uk, a special edge magazine has come out called Retro, it has a very interesting behind the scenes look back at zzap64 with the ex staffers Rignall, Penn, Liddon and many other excellent features including an Ultimate software interview and other 64 stuff including a Us gold lookback. Keep em Peeled! Keep you eyes peeled

I got this a week or two ago, quite nice it is as well. Especially the Zzap interview of course! I must ask them if I can reproduce the article here, once the issue is off the newsagents shelves of course. It's a pity there wasn't a little more about C64 stuff in the magazine, but the fact that the magazine was published is a great step in itself.

Its a making of 'classic games' such as Lemmings etc. Trouble is most of the articles are just re-prints of old EDGE ones, with a couple of new ones thrown in. I am not sure whether or not to buy it, as it doesnt have much relevance for me. |

You will be lucky to find the first RETRO special anywhere. There has been a few on eBay but they are at ridiculous prices, such as 13 (!) for one copy. |

I`ll see what I can do :-), I will wait a month or so and scan retro in, if you want a copy it will cost a pint plus P&p (covers cd and postage) |

LOL! Fair enough, I'll try and be patient! Let us know when you get around to it, and if you ever get to York, the beer is DEFINITELY on me. |

Just bought a copy of a new magazine called "Games TM" and I must recommend it to my fellow retro devotees. It has an entire section dedicated to the retro scene in every issue, usually at least 20 pages worth. And any mag that list Lloyd Mangram as one of its contributors is worth a read! |
