Ive downloaded the cc64 emulator and some games but how do you get them to play on the emulator, there doesent seem to be any instructions anywhere, on mame arcade games you drop the roms into mame but this doesent work on cc64, please help

Read the docs that come with CCS!
Basically when the C64 screen comes up press F9 to get into the menu part and you load games from within there, normally through the "device 8" option.
