posted 09-04-2001 09:21 PM GMT I have recently found my old 64 minus a few things like joystick and lead to the tv. Do I really have to trawl around local car boot sales for them, or does anyone out there have any going.

Depends what you need. You should be be able to find a joystick to play with quite easily, any standard 9 pin serial stick will work fine with the C64.
The RF lead might be a little harder, though I remember that certain electrical shops used to do them. Not sure if that's the case now, but always worth a try.
If you need a power supply, that's the hard part. eBay is probably the best bet for trying to track one of those down...

You don't have to look far for a Lead to the TV, just use an RCA cord. Like the kind that goes from stereo to speakers. I recently aquirred a C64, then found my old one. The problem is, I have no software for it! Where might I find games? I have found websites that have games but I don't know if they will work for my C64, or if they are strictly for the emulators.

Software on the net is for emulators to use. There are ways to transfer the images from the PC to real 5.25" discs to use on a proper C64 instead. Cables and software for this can be found at http://sta.c64.org
