I have just bought the first issue of GAMES magazine, which is published in the UK by Paragon.
It covers the XBox, PS" etc, but there is also a 26page retro section - There is even a small article on ZZAP! and Lloyd Mangram is a contributor!
It really is worthwhile supporting this magazine, especially as the section will be in every issue.
