posted 10-01-2003 04:23 PM GMT I've seen that the Gameboy Advance has a Spectrum emulator to play all those inferior Speccy games on. Has anyone seen or heard of a C64 emulator for the GBA? Can you imagine having a handheld C64? Even the Speccy one sounds interesting, but the thought of being able to play all those classic Commodore games on a GBA would be amazing! If their isn't one, has anybody out their got the knowledge to produce one?

i know there's now a 64 emulator for pocketpc, but I don't know about GBA. Several 64 fanatics are now coding for GBA.

There is atleast one C64 emu for the GBA in development, but it's not released yet:
The main problem with a C64 emu for the GBA is that the GBA has a too small screen (240x160 pixels) and the CPU isn't very fast either. The C64 has a 320x200 pixels display.
A much better option is the GP32 handheld which is similar to the GBA but has a (up to) 10 times faster CPU and a bigger screen (320x240 pixels).
