Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone here!
I know it's not the busiest board, but I visit everyday and really do appreciate the content on the site and the friendly nature here!
Cheers everyone!

Thanks for that! and Merry Christmas to you (and "Happy Holidays" to Rob!).
This site is actually just over 10 years old at this stage. I have a filling I did the first Zzap page for a college project in Nov 1997...

The problem with really knowing how old mine is, is that it started on a college server (for a couple of months), then moved to Tripod, then FortuneCity and then a proper pay server with domain name etc. Maybe the official date should be when the domain was registered... although that was a year or so after the first page went live. Was quite a buzz making my first webpage that people could access from around the world, brought me back to my BBS Sysop days!

Count me in for a mince pie. Merry Christmas one and all. Nothing like a sweltering Christmas in Australia.
And like Andy I tend to pop in here a few times a week, just to see a few old, friendly faces.

Merry Christmas all , sorry joined the thread a bit late, Anyhow having a drop of Bavarian 8.6 at the moment , tastes like lighter fluid but has the desired result.
Ps may have a couple more dvds done by xmas , One Multiformat which had extensive C64 coverage and an Amstrad tome which kept Amtix alive for a few more years within its pages with a free dvd of another 2 complete Amstrad mag sets, 1 by me and one I aquired, and its not Amstrad Action as those in the know should have found those on the web by now .
