Brilliant article about Ludlow.. From the photos, 1/2 King Street looks really modern, yet from what I remember in CRASH/ZZAP!, the place looked pretty small. They could'nt have rebuilt it, or made extensions, could they??Also, did you see the later premises on your visit (Case Mill)?

I didn't know where they were, I had a quick look at some Commodore Forces before I left for the UK but the only address in them was a p.o. box number. The building wasn't rebuilt, but there was a lot of people at some times working in the same building so it probably was a bit crowded. Glad you all liked the article though! it's nice to have some new content on the site as well as just stuff from old zzaps! :)

Hey Iain, very nifty idea, the Ludlow-pelgrimage! Nice article too! Nice pictures. The only 'pelgrimage" I ever did was to "Abbey road" (crossed without shoes) But does anybody know what happened to all the office-furniture, computers, joysticks, games-copies, paperwork, stored-back issues, etc. the zzap-team had over there?? Did anything survive the clean-up? What happened to all the original Oliver Frey artworks, has he stored it all himself? Oh yeah, by the way, about Lloyd Mangram's pharmacy, is that a joke or is it serious?? (Call me stupid, but you never know- English humour??) Keep up the good work Iain & Mort, you make me feel happy! |
