Hey guys, check out the last messages on the "what's your favourite part of Zzap"-item, and you'll se that who registered (at last) to our very best ZZAP RRAP messageboard.....(tara tara taratatata)
Gordon Houghton!!! (applause and all that)
Well, it certainly took you some time!
Tsk, tsk..reading all our interesting 'real life' topics, and never contributing..shame on you!
Well, I'm very proud to be in such good company thinking that Dan Gilbert is our 'secret guest' .(and rather irritating-in my humble opinion)
Gordo & Mayhem do think the same!
Oh boy, am I HAPPY to be on one line with you guys! (calm down, calm down..)
Well, as Iain's in the USA and the rest is probably sleeping, I feel free to WELCOME you on this luuuuverly message-board, Gordon.
Actually, it get's quite interesting at times....err...and we try to forget the rest. Feel free to throw in some cool topics!
mmm, I had plenty of things in mind to say, but I guess I'll get back to bed now.
(I'm afraid my wife's going to creep up behind me asking me what I'm doin'!-
Nevermind darling, I'm just typing in some sort of message because I'm so happy I came at last across a certain "Gordo" on the net.
Would she understand? Although we have quite a good understanding, in this case I could day: my wife doesn't understand me...)
What am I talkin' about?
I guess it's the time of day, err, night.
Well, Gordon, I hope we can swap some nifty opinions on this board, in the future.
Would be great!
Rob says goodnight to y'all!

Ta.

Like I said, I won't be posting much, if at all, for a while -- I've really got to force myself to work. But I'll still be lurking in the shadows, and waiting to find out just who Yossarian really is (apart from that crazy Catch-22 guy).

Robbie,

Hey Matt, don't you go upsetting our most regular poster! :)

Seriously, it's cool to have someone on the board who DOES make regular visits, and kick-starts (great game) quite a few topics. Good on ya Jimbo!

Still looking forward to Gordo's first proper contribution. Hey Gordo, I'm a budding novelist and VERY keen novel reader, what's the score on ordering copies or your novels? And what's the damage guv?

>Hey Gordo, I'm a budding novelist and VERY keen novel reader, what's the score on ordering copies or your novels? And what's the damage guv?<

And I said I wasn't going to post anymore for a while... Yeah, right. Like I can resist a chance to publicise my novels to someone who seems keen to buy ;o)

OK, I have two novels: THE APPRENTICE and THE DINNER PARTY.

The Apprentice is still around, and you can either just nip over to Amazon for a £7.99 copy, or read about it (and comparison shop)on my site:

http://www.the-burrow.freeserve.co.uk/novels/theapprentice.html

As for The Dinner Party, the publisher went belly-up (publishing stuff like The Dinner Party), so you can't get hold of it any more. Don't believe those "it'll take 2-3 weeks" comments, they're big fat liars. Shame really, because if you'd read TDP you'd have been inspired to start your novel-writing career immediately in an "I can do a hell of a lot better than that" kind of way.

*I* liked it though. ;o)

Thanks guys for the support,
it's not that I'm THAT fanatic, it's just that I was a couple of days at home being ill, so I had plenty of time to waste it.(err?)
Something that makes me just a little bit happier is the 'homecoming' of one of our most popular editors. (not my most popular editor by the way, sorry Gordon... but what a beauty of a homepage you got!)
Anyway, with Gordon being around, (regularly posting or not) gives 'our' fave zzap-page/messageboard just that important extra weight! (oo-er, sorry again Gordo! :>)
Anyway, it's good to hear something from you, Gordon, and I hope that it attracts some other fellow-zzaperoni's!
This page could use some sort of injection,
(especially when I go back to work again, haha) so it's up to you guys!
Hellooooo! (echo, echo..)
Cheers mates,
Rob

I liked it as well- It was a true insight into the mind of a psychopath. The story wasn't bad either. ;)
