Was Code Masters first released game (for the C64 anyway) BMX Simulator?
It has a serial number of 1001, but was there a 0000?

Yes, as far as I am aware, BMX Simulator was the Codies first official release.
Of course the Darling brothers had about 8 games released by Mastertronic before setting up on their own (Last V8, BMX Trials, Bionic Granny, Master of Magic etc).

I think it was alright, it was the first Codemasters game that Zzap reviewed.
He did have a good few through Mastertronic, Once his contract ran out though, he set up COdemasters. Did he do BMX Racers? that was a great little game.

I liked The Last V8 where you could take a shortcut across country to get to the bunker just after the 1st bend! I hated the Dizzy games they were so dirivative and copies of what Wally had done a few years early !Wally Week ruled,pity 3 weeks in paradise never got to the 64.
