Has anyone else seen the newly released "Jack Attack 2" which is a remake of 1983 Commodore 64 classic? What do you think? I think it's cool to play all the old C64 levels with greatly improved graphics and sound.

Check it out at www.jackattack2.com.

Dave.

wow, that's pretty amazing, I didn't think many people would remember Jack Attack. There was a guy just asking me about C64 game remakes a few days ago, there have been a good few Speccy ones but not any C64 ones that I know of, I guess I have one to add to the list now, anybody know of any others?

Hmmm...Test Drive? Drop Zone? Not sure if those two were made especially for the C64.

Nebulus got remade for the Game Boy...

International Karate / IK+ was just remade for the Game Boy Color - AND ROCKS. It's such a sweet conversion.

Last Ninja is being developed as a PlayStation2 title the last I heard...

There was an Impossible Mission remake developed for the MegaDrive but it never saw the light of day.

Any else?

Well Test Drive was multiformat, maybe the original was C64?

I do know that Dropzone came out first for the Atari.

I've seen IK for the GBC, but haven't splashed out on it yet, it has the same great playability?

Dropzone was also a bonus game in the PC version of Jimmy White's Snooker 2.
