Hey everyone,
Having this dream/idea mainly that could dream commodore back into a reality like as real as the computers of today. You know the name of Commodore64 and it was a 8 bit machine could they change the name like commodore 64 to mean 64 bit and 128 to mean 128 bit machine and to have cartridges only with a keyboard and internet access and other stuff I know people are still making games and there is a big support base for the c64 just wondering what others are thinking and if people like this idea. Just like the nintendo has the n64 for short.

Nice idea, but unlikely to happen...A lot
of companies would probably see the Commodore name as being 'too 80's' so I don't think they would want to pick up on it...
Also there are too many new consoles floating around at the moment that aren't selling in huge quantites - see PS2,Gamecube,XBox so another one in an already overcrowded market wouldnt sell.
BTW does anyone here has a C64GS?
