Nemesis only got 80%!Professor Brian Strain wrote:Delta was rated too low, Nemesis was rated too high, in my opinion... (both should have been mid-eighties, Delta probably a percent or two higher)

I was always shocked at the score for the music in Spellbound - from memory it got something like 60odd percent and said another assault on the ears by Rob Hubbard. I loved the music on that game - deserved high 80's at the very least

If that is the case, then I think the reviewers were correct - Though the game was very popular in sales terms, I do believe its way too easy and not very impressive at all.Professor Brian Strain wrote:Do you mean the Entertainment USA/Mastertronic game?jumhed wrote:Ninja was underrated.

Speaking of harsh ratings, CU gave Deceptor a ''1'', while it was a pretty good, original game. Zzap! rated the disk version 80%.
I wanted to include it into the DEF Tribute, but it was infact only to point and laugh at CU, so I dropped it. (there was already enough pointing and laughing at CU in it, hehe)

I always wondered whether Zzap! went ape over that game just because they really wanted a decent Transformers game, but the two to date had been appalling. I never really liked Deceptor, but I think 1/10 is very harsh indeed (even for the tape version); that said, I'd have been perfectly happy giving the disk version a 4 or 5.

Would have to say that the Amiga versions of Turrican 2 and Lemmings deserved a Gold Medal rather than a Sizzler
