CF writer (and coder of bits of Mayhem!) Andy Roberts on the Making Of Mayhem - quite a lot of new stuff in here as we celebrate 20 Years of Commodore Format's "perfect" game all month...and remember you don't need a Facebook account to enjoy. Just click and all of our content is open to all.

Re: Commodore Format FB page
Hey again guys,
The current batch of features are now easily available from this one page
https://www.facebook.com/CommodoreForma ... s&app_data
- and remember, you don't need a Facebook account to read any of the content, which includes
* Steve Jarratt, Andy Dyer, Simon Forrester, Andy Roberts and Mike Roberts interviews
* Making Mayhem - the real story on the creation of Mayhem In Monsterland, told for the very first time
* Simon Forrester on Mayhem at 20 and that 100% review score
And remember that elsewhere on the page you'll find pretty much everything to do with CF ever including all the artwork, extras and subscriber letter scans.
If you have anything CF related that isn't on the page or you're an ex staff member reading this, please do say hello!

Re: Commodore Format FB page
Jason Finch is the latest Q+A, uploaded this morning. He did Commodore Format's Techie Tips section. You might also remember him from CDU magazine. He was also behind the magazine on a disc, Club Light. He talks about that in depth a bit for the first time as well as loads of CF stuff. Commodore Force and ZZAP! get a mention too.
It's here - and you don't need a Facebook account to read it. Thanks guys!

Great interview. Kudos again for all the original content you have on that page!
Re: Commodore Format FB page
Hi again guys, today we've added a chat with Commodore Format's fifth editor (and he's still at Future!), Dave Golder. Hope you like it.

Couple of new pieces on the page, and they both reference ZZAP!
Warren Pilkington's bit rescued from the archives is here https://www.facebook.com/notes/commodor ... 8617248721
And Paul Morrison's My CF remembers the ZZAP! of 1985, too: https://www.facebook.com/notes/commodor ... 3497361233

THE ARCHIVE IS LIVE!
Very pleased to say that the Commodore Format Archive is now live -
www.commodoreformatarchive.com
It's an archive of all the interviews and features from the FB page so far, plus scans and extras you won't have seen before. There's a new, detailed history section and for the first time anywhere a high quality set of subscriber newsletter scans.
If you haven't read Andy Roberts' feature on the real story behind the making of Mayhem, or Steve Jarratt's thoughts on taking on ZZAP!, or if you fancy seeing the very first pencil sketches of Roger Frames - it's all up there. And more. And it's growing all the time.
Thanks to everyone on this site for the support you've shown - the C64 community truly is still fantastic.

Re: Commodore Format FB page
Hey guys,
Loads more on the archive the last few months.
* A brand new, exclusive Roger Frames cartoon by Cameron of Blow The Cartridge! http://commodoreformat.wordpress.com/ex ... mes-comic/
* An unseen CF front cover! http://commodoreformat.wordpress.com/the-fes-1993-mag/
* And you can get your game on Power Pack 62! http://commodoreformat.wordpress.com/ge ... r-pack-62/
Cheers everyone and many thanks to Iain for the continued support. It's now a bit tougher to spread the word via Facebook when there's new content without buying a "promoted" post, so any shares of spreading the word if you like what we do much appreciated.
