Hi folks - still lurking every now and then? I know I do.

Stumbled upon this bad news: our Zzap!64 #107 collaborator (and more) Cameron Davis aka Gazunta passed away, so I heard from Julian Rignall on Twi... X. Just wanted to let you know.

What terrible news. We’d not been in touch that much in recent years, but he randomly popped up on my Mastodon feed at the end of last year, and we swapped a few messages. Looking back, it’s quite something to think how bonkers #107 was at the time. And without Gazunta, it just wouldn’t have existed. And without that, would be have had the Retro Gamer tribute? Would Chris Wilkins have still done his new Zzap!64s? Who’s to say?

RIP, Gazunta. You were far too young to go.

Just reading this now. Really sorry to hear this. He was such a force to get the Zzap! 107 idea going.
