Games with music and game loaders
Hi all,
I'm looking for a definitive list of games that had music whilst loading, or had other games like Invade a load while loading the main game on the C64.
Cheers dudes!

C64 music
I used to love the loading tunes & in game music to most C64 games, like International Karate, Rambo II, Commando, Miami Vice & GhostBusters etc. The sounds were fanastic. I feel that at the time, the great music really pushed the C64 games ahead of conversions available for the other home computers. The C64 was a special piece of gaming hardware. I hated the Amstrad.

US Gold must have been one of the earliest as well - they did'nt have loading music with their later games, just the earlire ones. Remember the US anthem and that annoyingly catchy jingle that came straight after it - whilst the counter on the screen went down to zeroMayhem wrote:What was the FIRST game to have music whilst loading though?
Interceptor did the first game whilst playing, but what about just a loading picture and music? Earliest I can think of is Daley Thompson's Decathlon.
Fave Game: Thrust

Who did the Frank Bruno's Boxing loading music? It was a cool rendition of "Living on Video".

That's right ... and the Frank Bruno's Boxing loading screen was in the form of a TV screen with the same style graphics as the Commando one i.e. it was shit
BTW, are you both (Andy and Matt) going to East Croydon in August?

The in game music to Rambo II was excellent, it really made the game seem just like the film. I really liked the loading music to Commando also. It was a tad repetitive, however it really sounded great. Pitty the game only had three levels, graphics were superb but the game was shorter than a short thing on short day.
