Yeah, my idea too. But unfortunately Paul turned down the offer, being too busy. Robin said he was in, but after that, he never replied to my requests and e-mails. I did all I could to get those people in, but when they do not respond or don't have time, what can I do?
And, as a matter of fact, this DEF Tribute was not only a tribute to the ones who created and worked for the mag during the 80s, it was also meant as a tribute to the ones who are keeping the flame alive right now.
That's why I wanted Iain & Mort to contribute comments as well as the #107 team and other Rrap regulars.
It was the only way to create a full size team, doing about 3 comments for each game -which was just do-able regarding the tight deadlines at the time. I didn't know by then we'd end up in July with the whole thing!
I could write a book about the whole project, really.
